How do I order Samples?

We have different types of sample packs we offer. Samples are a great way to experiment with our copper. You can see it, feel it and know for sure which copper finish will work best for you.

Do you offer samples of plain copper?

Yes we do they are included with our sample packs or our pick (6) sample pack, we do not currently offer just one sample of just plain copper. The backside of most of the patina copper samples is plain copper. That is what it will look like. All patina samples come in our light 36 gauge. If you need to please make a special request if you would like a small sample of 24 gauge copper in "Raw" or plain copper.

Can I order Large samples?

Yes, Call 913-269-6528  to personally order.


I do not have an installer in my area?

If you do not know how to install copper or if you need an installer that can help or do the installation. Check locally, most local laminate installers can do the copper installation on a bar top. It is similar to doing laminate project. You can also try contacting a local cabinet shop or visit Angie's List.

Do you offer or make custom finishes?

Well, Yes and No. Our proprietary custom patinas are a long and hard process to develop. It has taken many years to develop the ones we currently offer. Because a substantial amount of copper is used in the process to develop any new finish or patina. The starting rate for a custom patina is around $10,000. If you are interested? Please don't hesitate to contact us. We have our master expert on standby ready to speak with you.


What if I need to change my order?

It really depends, call us ASAP at 913-269-6528  or feel free to email us to see if we can change it. We may have already started on your order and in that case we will have to see what step of the process your order is currently at. Please remember we can work with you but as per our terms: "Orders that are canceled before shipping are subject to a 15% re-processing fee to cover the time and expense of canceling the order and issuing a refund."  Of course if you need to add something or if it's something simple it may not be an issue.


What are your copper specification?

All of our raw copper sheets are 99.9% pure copper (premium alloy 110) annealed (1/2 HARD) with a smooth commercial finish manufactured to ASTM-B152 Standards. For further reading you can view our Technical Specifications page of our site.


What gauge of copper is right for my project?

Please visit our Copper Comparison Chart section of our website it will sow you the differences between the gauges we offer and also what gauge is best suited for each type of project.


How long does shipping normally takes?

We currently ship in the USA only from our website (International shipping is available to Canada by phone ordering). We ship to all other countries with a minimum order totaling $1,500 or more (no exceptions). We will automatically refund any order that does not follow our shipping guidelines.

  • All orders usually ship out within 4-7 business days after payment or any forms of payment that are received from our warehouse located in Kansas City.
  • Tools and Supplies: We can give you recommendations but will not ship these products to you at this time other than whats available on our website.
  • Copper Samples: Sample swatches will be shipped by Priority Mail.
  • Light 36 Gauge Copper Sheets: They are shipped by Fed Ex Ground or UPS.
  • Heavy 24 Gauge Copper Sheets: They are shipped by Fed Ex Ground or UPS usually within 5-7 business days after payment and any other forms of payment received from the central warehouse located in Kansas City.
  • You can also upgrade your shipping to Overnight or 2nd Day Shipping for an additional fee based on your order and your address we are shipping it to. Do you ship to Hawaii and Alaska?

Do you offer expedited shipping?

We do offer Expedited Shipping for an additional $65 per sheet and we can get the order shipped most of the time in about 24 hours. You can also upgrade your shipping to Overnight or 2nd Day Shipping for an additional fee based on your order and your address we are shipping it to. You will need to place your order over the phone for a RUSH ORDER. You can give us a call 913-269-6528 and we can discuss the options.

Is an epoxy necessary for the copper?

  • Yes, Light 36 Gauge Copper is not thick enough or durable enough to use as a surface without an epoxy coating. You'll need a hard and durable coating over the copper to protect it and keep it from getting dents, markings or oxidizing further.
  • The Heavy 24 Gauge Copper does not require epoxy and can be sealed with 3-4 coats of lacquer instead but we still recommend an epoxy as well.
  • Lacquer will keep the copper from tarnishing but epoxy gives added durability.  Once it cures you have an extremely solid surface, not to mention an amazing glossy clear finish.


Checking on a order status?

If you have an account you can log into your account and see the status of your order at anytime. We also send out email status notifications at each stage of your order process. If you did not create an account during checkout or checked out as a guest you will still receive our notifications via email. If you are not receiving our emails, please check your spam box or contact us for further help. Our order statuses and order notifications are as follows:

  • Processing: This means we have received your order and are getting ready to prepare it for you.
  • Preparing Order: This means the order has been processed and is being gathered and prepped, getting ready for shipment.
  • Shipped: This means that your order has been processed, prepared and shipped and you'll receive your tracking number along with this notification.
  • Completed: This means that your order has been processed, prepared and shipped and successfully delivered to your address we shipped your order to.
  • Canceled: This means your order was canceled for some reason, if this happens and its a mistake please contact us.
  • Refunded: This means your order was canceled and or refunded for some reason, if this happens and its a mistake please contact us.


Account issues with login, e.mail or password?

  • If you have an account and cannot access it, first please try resetting your password. An email will be sent to the address on file on how to update and change it.
  • "Email already exists"? That usually happens when trying to create an account with an email already in our system. It could also mean that you may have purchased previously before perhaps over the phone or you checked out as a guest.
  • You can still create an account if you didn't create one at checkout with your email you provided over the phone or the one you used while checking out as a guest
  • If that fails or anything above? You will need to contact us and we can help you get your account created or access resolved.


How are the copper products and sheets shipped?

  • All of our items  will be extremely well packed. All products are packed well with excellent service and care, to assure a fast, safe delivery,  we have shipped our products for decades and we know what is needed with each product to guarantee a safe delivery.
  • Light 36 Gauge Copper: Our light 36 gauge copper is rolled on a cardboard tube, bubble wrapped and boxed. They are packaged extremely well to ensure they arrive undamaged. BE VERY CAREFUL when you are opening the plastic wrap. We DO NOT suggest using a knife as you can damage the copper.
  • Heavy 24 Gauge Copper: Our heavy 24 gauge copper is wrapped on a large cardboard tube, packed with foam and boxed or wood-crated and shipped by FedEx or Freight Service depending on the size of the order. Once you receive the copper, it will unroll flat.
  • Large orders of heavy gauge copper are shipped flat on custom made pallets. They ship by truck FOB Kansas City MO. Either you can arrange your own shipping or we can ship with our freight carrier we regularly use.

Do you offer a warranty?

We offer a complete no risk guarantee with many of our products because we want you to be satisfied and happy with your purchase. Our products are designed to last for many years. There is no warranty or guarantee for any of copper sheet products due to the nature of product. If something happens in transit or it arrives damaged please contact us as soon as possible (BEFORE you have cut, opened, altered or installed it).
